This sums it up perfectly.

Double post, but in case anyone cares: Just found out about a book called "The Boss". Apparently it's from an author that hated 50 Shades of Grey, and her book is based on the same premise, only without all the mysogynist, abusive crap. You can currently download it for free, even.

Isn't the film Secretary with Maggie Gyllenhaal kinda like what 50 shades is??
I haven't actually watched Secretary (only heard about it) and I haven't actually read 50 shades either, LOL.

Also, the "Bared to You" series by Sylvia Day. I haven't read it, but I've heard it was Day's response to 50 Shades.

Girls, one question: Kegel exercises.

Has anyone ever done them? Do they work? How do you know if you're doing them correctly? I've been trying to do them for the past few months, and (this is so so so so so TMI I'm sorry) I just got my period, and it's been pretty heavy this month so I've been using a combination of tampons and pads (rather than just pads) and holy cow it hurts to use tampons now >.> Not sure if I was just really tense when I was using them, or whether Kegel exercises actually make you tighter lol. So my question is, have any of you had any experience with doing Kegel exercises? And how do you know if you're doing them correctly?

Ugh...so I'm 4 months pregnant and been with my boyfriend for over 6 years. Well lately he feels weird about having sex with me. I'm not big yet or anything and he knows it won't hurt the baby. He just thinks the idea of it is "weird" its really starting to aggravate me!

I do kegels because I saw this very terrifying episode of some show on TLC where this woman "prolapsed"...essentially...her pelvic floor muscles had become weak and her organs were...falling out...of her vagina. Yeah. The mere fact that that is a thing that can happen is enough to make me do kegels in my spare time religiously, lol.

kegel excersizes strengthen the muscles and muscle floors, they do not make your vagina tighter lol. you can squeeze it and hold it tighter. no one is 'too tight for tampons', you're tense.

I recently met a guy and he mentioned he once had a foursome with three girls. I'm pretty sure he was lying, judging by the way he explained it (just happened ~out of nowhere). I don't understand why some men feel the need to "brag" about things like that. I literally don't care how many partners someone has had (at the same time or otherwise) lol. I mean, anything over the 40-50 range is a little disconcerting for someone in their early 20's -- but I digress.

Why did I Google that. I knew what was coming. Omg D:

And HarperSi, I thought they DID make you tighter? At least that's what every pregnant woman/ person who's given birth told me. They insist that that's how they got tight again after giving birth lol

I think it is different for women who have given birth. It is not like they are in their natural shape and then got tighter through the exercise, it is more like they got out of shape so the exercise helped them get back to normal.

This^ Knew a guy from a few years ago who was a dj at a club I used to frequent, our 2 groups of friends merged and we came to find out he's 22 and had at the time (probably more now let's be real) slept with 92 women. Had a list he updated on his phone every time he 'gained a conquest'. It's a shame because he was really cute, but I wouldn't want to be lowered to a name on a list like those other girls so I never pursued him.

Hi. It would be great to get a lot of people talking about this topic because i'm curious.
There is no 'one' answer for this question, so i'm asking for many opinions/ different experiences regarding it.
So....
Does it hurt when you first have sex?
What were your experiences with your first time?

As has been said here previously, the whole "popping of the cherry" concept (rupturing the hymen) is a myth. The hymen already has an opening that is simply stretched. Whether or not the first time hurts is different for everyone. The vast majority of the time, pain comes from being too nervous (and thus not relaxed or lubricated enough). That is why I experienced pain during my first time.
