I finally have a job where I can wear lipstick, so I want to find recommendations for good long wearing liquid lipsticks. I search 'best liquid lipsticks' into YouTube and no videos look good??
I swear about 6/7 years ago gurus were always doing 'The Best xx' kind of videos or 'Best xx of 2014' and I felt like I knew all the best products. Now it's just all more lifestyle and aesthetic stuff but actual product knowledge isn't there anymore, is this just me?
Is the beauty community fit for purpose?

Re: Is the beauty community fit for purpose?
The cosmetics market is so saturated, there’s so many launches happening at the same time and since some of the gurus stopped buying makeup with their own money they are not being fully honest anymore. They’ll just shill whatever brands they get in pr and swear by them.
I saw this video months ago and everyone was raving about this lipstick by nyx.

Congrats for getting hired
If you want a recommendation from a non-beauty guru, i'd recommend you look into HUDA's matte liquid lipsticks. See if you can my a small size from somewhere, to test it out. I personally liked the Wifey shade, but this color may not look good on everyone - skin tone et all. As far as i remember it has a pretty long wear, but i haven't used it in a while so my memory can play tricks on me.
And if anything else fails, you could try the lipsticks recommended a few years ago, if you can still find them in the store. Good luck!

I assume that near the very end of the year a lot of them will come out with their best of 2021 videos. Hopefully you can get
some good recommendations then to expand your collection of liquid lipsticks.
Congratulations on your new job!

hello guys,,
The beauty community has a mixed reputation, often marred by drama and controversies. While it can provide valuable insights and inspiration, its focus on consumerism and unrealistic beauty standards raises questions about its true purpose and impact on society.
