The three doctors I have been since I started TTC three years ago beg to differ to your opinion. They can’t make you stop drinking if you don’t want because at the end of the day people are going to do whatever they want but at least the three times I have seen a doctor , a gynecologist , and two fertility experts they both said drinking during TTC should be stopped not because it affects your fertility but because you don’t know if you could be pregnant, ovulation can happen even outside of your ovulation period at any time, some woman even have what they think it’s their period when they are pregnant , some don’t even find out they are pregnant until 4-5 months since pregnancy tests come back negative and it’s irresponsible to keep drinking when you don’t know you could be carrying a baby.

ETA: Also since Sierra has or might have PCOS it makes it harder to know when ovulation happen so if she is drinking at all times she really doesn’t know if she is drinking “outside her two weeks of ovulation” as she said . And if she ends up pregnant she might not even know right away and she will have been drinking . That’s why we are so hard on her to stop her heavy alcohol consumption

Sierra has talked about using ovulation tests so she should actually know whether or not and when she ovulated. I think she overdoes it, but my doctors also told me as long as I wasn't going overboard or in my two week window, a drink or two was ok and that you don't even share a blood supply with the baby until weeks 4-5. I don't think people should be shamed for a glass here and there and agree with the PP.
Uh... pretty sure drinking alcohol is not a need, but a want. And also very bad for you and your future baby. Why is it unreasonable to expect someone who is ACTIVELY trying to conceive to quit drinking? She’ll need to do it once she gets pregnant anyway. Might as well get used to it. Honestly. It’s not that hard to quit drinking for extended periods of time unless there’s a dependency issue. I wish our society would stop enabling casual alcoholism and binge drinking, like what Sierra promotes with her *~WhItE clAw*~ obsession. It’s a bad look.
I went to the live show, and she said she wasn’t drinking anymore because she’s trying to conceive. I think this was said before they filmed the podcast portion.
Didn’t she post a story a brewery drinking a beer just this past weekend?

If anyone has seen her insta stories she is literally trying to tell us off since she or someone reads here ... “ there are a lot of misinformation about PCOS that’s is not scientifically backed” yeah, you mean the things we are talking about like the whole drinking thing and your weight affecting your body and that’s why you should loose some? Is that what you are talking about??? ... just Because you want to excuse yourself to keep drinking on the daily and eating like crap , sure Jan. Also , “we are in no rush “ ... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? didn’t you just cry a week ago saying it’s what you want more than ANYTHING in the world and you wish you could get pregnant .. mmmkay . You should really practice being “honest” as you are saying you are about all this situation ..oh and bonus! She said she has know for weeks that she has PCOS because it was confirmed , for all of us that kept saying she didn’t have it confirmed . She makes it so obvious she reads here and since she can’t take it she is trying to explain herself on Insta Image ImageImage

I am going though her youtube channel statistics from time to time and right now I am noticing weird stuff. Her number of subscribers are not growing the same way, as before. Even amount of views is fever. I am suspicious she was buying subscribers to get to 1 milion. There is a whole week, she got 0 subscribers. Could be rounded down, of course, but I remember that every day she had like 5k-10k subscribers. Now it is 10.000 subscribers in a what? In a week?

Seems strange to me.

Social blade doesn't go by daily anymore. It's a weekly sum. As much as I'd like to buy into it, this is normal. They totally revamped shortly after Dramagedon

First of all, that's not remotely true at all lol. And she got plant-based bacon, sausage, and eggs with potatoes and fruit. She does realize how easy that would be to make at home? THIS is why she gained weight so quickly. She blames her food choices on being vegetarian/vegan, when in reality she would just rather eat snack-type junk food instead of put some effort into a healthy meal.
Meat based for breakfast what Image, I am not a vegetarian and only eat an egg, coffee and non lactose milk, and some fruit or avocado toast she could eat that with no problem since she is no vegan she eats eggs, she choose the unhealthy options herself Image

But most breakfast food is meat based!

Like pancakes, potatoes, eggs, fruit, biscuits, toast, and beans if you're English.
& cereal, oats, muffins, cruppets, nice cream, yoghurt (non- dairy or dairy) etc etc hahahah

Literally the only meat-based breakfasts I can think of are bacon & sausages, which are not healthy for you anyway.

Haha Image .. also correct me if I’m wrong but clomid (NOT chlomid as our perfect diction Kween calls it ) is to stimulate your ovaries to release an egg ... to “super ovulate” (as she calls itImageImage ) .... that’s a whole different medication. They are gonadotropins , those are injectables that are used to produce multiple eggs , and that’s usually used for when a woman is going to start IVF . Sierra needs to get her stuff together! She is so misinformed and the way she says things just shows how uneducated she is about the situation even when she says she went to a doctor and was given said information . At least my fertility doctor did a good job explaining every single thing to me ... hers doesn’t seem to be doing a good job

As a dietitian myself I thought it was weird for her to proclaim she found a ‘body positive nutritionist’. Like what does that even mean by that? 😂 Dietitian (at least in the uk) are trained to be caring and compassionate as we train within the NHS so I’d say we should be body positive (and I’ve never met anyone in my line of work who isn’t?). End of the day she also has to put the work in, her health professional should be recommending weight loss but professionals don’t do the work for you- it’s very common I offer device to people and they don’t change just bc they’re set in their ways. I see Sierra doing the same and continuing to blame her PCOS instead of herself.

I’m like mega confused.

August: She says she’s preparing to get ready to conceive. Not really trying yet, just preparing. Prenatal vitamins.

October: States they are not trying just preparing again. Goes to doctor to get preconception bloodwork.

November: States they have been trying to conceive and gets emotional and freaks out over PCOS diagnosis.

Even if she was trying to conceive three months ago (when she said she wasn’t) she has only been TTC for three months at most.. that seems pretty normal to me. And now she’s jumping into complete obsessive mode and claiming PCOS is the reason for x, y and z and being prescribed meds when she’s only barely been trying to conceive for three months!?

I get preventative/proactive practice and stuff but they have barely been trying to conceive. I honestly would not be surprised if she ends up pregnant quickly. Like she’ll have a baby by next year because she hasn’t even given it a fair shot yet. I’ll eat my words if she doesn’t get pregnant in the next year but like my god, chill out Sierra - you’ve been trying for three months.. get concerned when you’ve been trying for two+ years.

She has baby FOMO. JUST WANTS TO BE A PARENT BECAUSE HER FRIENDS ARE. How petty Sierra.

Yeah... I understand being upset that you haven't conceived yet (in the same boat), but from what she's disclosed to her viewers, they've only been TTC for ONE month! Most doctors say to try for at least six months before looking into other options! Why is she getting SO upset?! Try for a while longer, Sierra... these things take time.

I'm only a few minutes into her new vlog but omg!! How is she even more irritating than usual? Wtf was she doing with her voice in the first few minutes? That high pitched, almost baby-talk is so nauseating. I get that it's an exciting opportunity, but she acts so incredibly immature about it.

I feel weird that Hollister reached out to an influencer for a campaign and not a plus model in the industry. Also only 4 girls for that shoot total? I get it's a super cool experience but I hope Sierra isn't that dense to believe Hollister has gone full Aerie with the inclusion. It'll be a joke if she's the only big girl featured because it proves they used her for quick body posi bucks.

I’d be really interested to know what size she was given for the Hollister shoot. And why didn’t she mention it a million times? I’m wearing a size whatever pair of paper bag jeans updated for the new season would have been fine...

I think the largest size is a 17,if she was a 14,a size 15 would fit her just fine... but the paperbag jeans they gave her were like skinny jeans on her, I would be worst if that was the largest they go tough, because no even a "true size 14 mid size youtuber" could fitImage

Carrie gained a ton of weight too. Does that mean she too has PCOS like Sierra supposedly has! (Sarcasm) Sorry not sorry.

Sent from my moto g(6) forge using Tapatalk
I think Carrie’s main problem is that she’s now in her 30s but acts (and probably eats) like she’s still 22. She hasn’t accounted for her metabolism slowing down with age.
Carries 30? Woah she looks way younger than Sierra

Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
According to FamousBirthdays.com, Carrie will be 32 right after Christmas (December 27.)

So I don't know what exactly she means by body positive RD, but there are RDs that specialise in Intuitive Eating and RDs who approach diseases like PCOS from a non restrictive perspective. Like Julie Duffy Dillon, I'm not a close follower, but she for example recommends focussing on increasing protein instead of restricting food groups. I guess that type of RD is what Sierra means. I just hope she's going with an actual RD and not a "nutritionist" with some questionable internet certification.
