Not sure why Jim's situation is 'better' than Tanya's. She's in her own space and has an ok-ish outdoor space to sit in privately in the sun. I'd prefer that to having an award couple of month's at the in-laws where you have to be on 'guest' behaviour and don't have your own things around you. Knowing Jim and his ego though, he probably has no problem in making himself right at home and helping himself.

I also wouldn’t want to leave my home empty for however long this goes on for as technically we aren’t supposed to be travelling between properties. Homes left empty for more than 30 days might invalidate their insurance and then he would be stuffed if a pipe burst or he was burgled etc.

Knowing Jim he probably had a friend move into his house. I think he would have stayed with one of his sisters, but maybe there wasn’t enough room, if his mum is staying with them, cos they also have young kids. It looks from SM that Jim gets on really well with Sarah’s family, he’d already spent time with them previously and even been on holiday with them. I think Jim seems pretty easy going and extrovert and with them having a big house and lots of countryside near by, he could always go off on his own easily. Being near so much nature as they are, would make lockdown so much easier, because nature helps you distress. I know the difference it makes to have a large garden and live near a large park and beach, being close to nature really reduces stress. In contrast London’s parks are over crowded and sometimes having to be closed when they become too busy.

Jim was talking on his insta story that they just grew apart after 12 years and couldnt "bridge the gap" and that they still care about each other, I know a lot of people dislike Jim but i actually think he's come out on top and is a lot more mature about it
