seeing jenn's new summer outfit ideas video where she's prancing around on vacation with revolve in mexico.... leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

i know it's summer and i know she's a fashion "influencer" so she's not obligated to speak on anything, particularly anything political, but recently, there were two mass shootings that happened in less than 24 hours of each other and it is a critical time to get people, especially young people, to at least think about the future of the country.

of course, she CAN upload this video and i don't think she should address the shootings and other political things in this specific video (that would be too jarring) BUT despite her getting called out for being silent (minus footage of one women's march), this video just emphasized that she probably won't change and she's stuck in this millionaire bubble with other slim beauty influencers with their expensive inaccessible clothes and vapid lifestyles and vacations in other exotic countries, ESPECIALLY one that has a crisis at the border rn.

i hope one day she will sit down and at least try to make a difference with her platform, like she said she would.

she's not really that photogenic. i never thought she looked great in photos. her face is just so bland.

I remember someone in the previous thread mentioned she doesn't use enough sunscreen to protect her face and in her Glittery cat eye makeup vid she mentions that someone "clocked me in for not using enough SPF" then proceeds to put a little dollop on her hand and asks "is THIS an adequate amount?" What a salty person. I still don't think that was enough lolll.
