I’ve always been a little (ok, actually very) irritated over the fact that Elle uses her mom (and formerly Joe) as her personal chauffeur. It’s like, your mom is much older than you are and you’re a freaking adult. Get your license/licence, for god’s sake.

Understandably, this is Ginette’s own doing. If it were my mom, she’d be more mean about it and tell me to walk to the nearest bus stop.

Hopefully this new boyfriend of hers is okay with driving Miss Elle around because it looks like she won’t be getting her full license anytime soon.

Oh did anyone catch My Daily Sweet shading Elle in her La Pausa event video? I don't normally watch her, but I was curious to see the event. She mentioned she'd be giving the free, full size chanel perfume she received to somebody as a gift, then quickly clarified that it wouldn't be the WHOLE gift, obviously.

How she calls herself a girlboss when she is dependent on hitching rides with mommy and can’t be single for more than a month is beyond me.

On the cusp of 30 and nobody to put a ring on her finger. So she went out and got herself a 2100 pound ring that looks like something that came out of a gumball machine, designed by a nonjeweler like herself. And might I point out that the ring features a cashan cut?

Oh, sweetie. If you really were such a "jewelry nerd" you'd know there are other rings out there beside the collection of a makeup artist whose designs aren't even hers. You'd also know that this is called bezel setting, and that all those rings just don't look good together because the tanzanite ring has a white metal setting. A self-professed jewelry nerd should know that jewelry is not just pearls and overpriced trendy rings. There are incredible jewelry designers out there whose pieces even have sculptural worth, but I guess you won't know about them since you can't find them in Nordstrom.

I know that was harsh, but good god. I'm not a hardcore jewelry fanatic, but at least I know what gemstones are considered valuable. I'm sure if you showed Elle a dirty diamond and oiled emerald on a plain gold band, she would think how pretty and "sparkly" it was, so long as the rocks are big enough.
