Omeglegate was around the time GG was super glitchy and new "secret" forums were made so I think most of the conversations/info is probably lost. That whole time was a shit show for the SJ's. The Omegle thing/Anna's ED/flying to Sorrento with chicken pox etc etc.

What I remember is it was during the Radio Times competition thing and he was so desperate to win that he started begging for votes (while simultaneously saying that he didn't care about votes). He would do live streams asking for votes in return for t-shirts and cameras, he was asking viewers (teenagers) for their phone numbers and encouraging them to sign up to Omegle (and make sure they "looked nice".)

It was a stressful period for poor Jonathan, I think at one point he was having weekly meltdowns on snapchat because of the hater trollz. I do miss those times.

It was about 2 years ago so maybe you weren't a viewer then? I think the asking for phone numbers was his way to contact them if they won a t-shirt/camera. Asking them to "look nice" is just 'cos he's creepy AF. The votes were for a Radio Times competition thing that he was beyond desperate to win. It was also around this time that he was "allegedly" messaging (underage) girls on Snapchat. I'm sure others here must remember this too.

I was a viewer 2 years ago, but obviously missed all that, I tended to FF through most if not all of Jonathan's footage/time unless he was with the kids doing something worthwhile and remotely interesting. That was before Alessia was born. If he is talking to the camera, I skip him, I just find him, creepy, unattractive, obnoxious, disingenuous, a buffoon, childish, a slob, unethical and opportunistic and narcissistic. Most of the vlog now is so childish, with Emilia pulling part of the load, Jonathan and his antics and Anna droning on and on about the most mundane things. Seriously how much explaining do simple things need? She just cannot just tell something in a straightforward way. It has to include confusion and backpedaling. I watch only for Alessia and Emilia sometimes when she is being herself and not a showman or a mini version of Jonathan.

I agree, I have seen this coming since she started crawling. It never made sense to me to only have gates at the top of the stairs and then one at the foot of the stairs on the 1st floor. To block off the landings is necessary sure, but then leave the stairs open at the bottom was so dumb. They have done this before, they know what they are doing is what the minions always say. Apparently not, is a baby climbing stairs a new thing?
No, but getting makeup on to be glamorous while you work out instead of helping out with 3 kids is more important. He films and let's her crawl out of sight into the next room. That door to the basement is what worries me the most. I can see it being left open accidentally. They Don't supervise her well. I am also waiting for a warning nip from one of the dogs the way they let her smack them. Then of course it will be the dogs fault.
