Kinda better than fashion design though. Like I actually respect her for that topic rather than 20,000 words of "ooh that dress is saah pretty" if you get what I mean.

I don't respect her much for it. It was discussed a while back that she basically did it as a topic as it was available. And a PhD in fashion design is incredibly hard work

I agree. She doesn't seem so educated, I always find spelling or grammar mistakes reading her blog.Amyw673 wrote:I don't respect her much for it. It was discussed a while back that she basically did it as a topic as it was available. And a PhD in fashion design is incredibly hard work

I low key can't believe she even went to college, let alone grad school. She does not seem intelligent enough, and she lacks the eloquence of a high education.

Not to diminish the hard work involved in a fashion PhD, but it's not as if she went to Harvard Law.CrystalC wrote:I low key can't believe she even went to college, let alone grad school. She does not seem intelligent enough, and she lacks the eloquence of a high education.
Re: Inthefrow/Victoria (Part 1)
No, but grad programs are not a cake walk LOL (and I only wrote a thesis, not a full on dissertation). She just lacks intellectual depth and I find it hard to believe she wrote an actual dissertation. It's probably total shit. She's got a purse for brains.kellyba34 wrote:Not to diminish the hard work involved in a fashion PhD, but it's not as if she went to Harvard Law.CrystalC wrote:I low key can't believe she even went to college, let alone grad school. True, I can't imagine her stressing out & spending hours writing - it seems like all she does is buy new clothesCrystalC wrote:No, but grad programs are not a cake walk LOL (and I only wrote a thesis, not a full on dissertation). Yup, all her posts on the blog seem like they were written by a teenager.kellyba34 wrote:True, I can't imagine her stressing out & spending hours writing - it seems like all she does is buy new clothesCrystalC wrote:No, but grad programs are not a cake walk LOL (and I only wrote a thesis, not a full on dissertation). Re: Inthefrow/Victoria (Part 1)
Anyone watched her new video? The thumbnail is of her and the boy in a pool with the title "we needed this" or something quite like it. Poor lamb needs a break after all the hard work she's been putting in such as flying on a private plane to Poland to have dinner and watch a slide show. And of course arranging those pictures on the wall. Don't know how she copes! Maybe it was the purchasing of those awful hoochie red boots that really wore her out.
Re: Inthefrow/Victoria (Part 1)
OT but where are you from that you call a PhD a dissertation? I'm about to start my PhD and we call that a thesis in England, I've just finished my masters and the final piece of work was called a dissertation (15000 word compared to the 100000 expected on the PhD).CrystalC wrote:No, but grad programs are not a cake walk LOL (and I only wrote a thesis, not a full on dissertation). Anyway she did get the PhD from a good uni it seems, I was surprised actual Manchester uni offers fashion, was expecting it to be Manchester Met.

I'm not the person you were replying to, but I'm in Australia and some people say dissertation - I think there's a slight difference in meaning though (regardless of location)curlytot92 wrote:OT but where are you from that you call a PhD a dissertation? Re: Inthefrow/Victoria (Part 1)
I tried watching her lastest vlog (I don't normally watch her) but she came across as *so* vapid that I had to click out after a couple minutes. :/
It seems like her whole life revolves around clothes, makeup, and materialism.
The bit in the video where she was complaining about the coffee was so cringe-worthy, no one else with her seemed to care.

Watching her vlog from today and I really like the fact she's got a lot of friends from before YouTube, her best friend Steph in today's vlog is so cute, her appearance has made me enjoy the vlog..
Sorry I know it's a trash thread but hope I can just slip this post in here

Re: Inthefrow/Victoria (Part 1)
I Amon thr oppose end. Her recent vlog titles put me off so badly and the pretentious cingey thumbnail just gross! (And click bait ish)
Re: Inthefrow/Victoria (Part 1)
Her vlog titles lately are so cringey and click-baity that it really makes me not want to watch, so I've been skipping them even though I love moving and decorating vlogs!
I'm sad she's felt the need to get her lips done, big lips are a passing trend and they really don't suit her. That and her cakey make up makes her look like a plastic, new money trophy wife. I don't get it, when she shows herself with no make up, she's so so pretty and looks so fresh! The she puts on darker foundation and a nude lipstick and it just disappears. She was at a shoot once where the MUA used lots of pinks and reds and the right shade of foundation, and she looked so lovely!
Her style is absolutely dreadful at the moment, I don't know what else to say. Those red boots... Reminds me of an eccentric old lady that used to get the same bus as me, who would wear bright red heels, a bright red bag, and wear bright red lipstick

Re: Inthefrow/Victoria (Part 1)
So the first jumper she shows in her 'Autumn Fashion' video is a "nice mid range jumper, that's not super high street but not really expensive". I checked it's £299!!!!!! I hate to think what she would say about my new favourite jumper - a £10 cardigan from Sainsbury's

Re: Inthefrow/Victoria (Part 1)
I'm suprised she vlogs in her flat! It is totally the opposite of this super high end premium everything vibe she is going for. She looks ridiculous sat in her living room with a fridge and desk piled in the corner just out of frame of her filming space.
Re: Inthefrow/Victoria (Part 1)
I feel like she's the type of person who only cares about how she looks and comes across - she spent £500 on a pair of boots she wasn't sure about and wanted to try out a new style. As long as she's getting comments about people being jealous, she'll keep goinghana.bananals wrote:I'm suprised she vlogs in her flat! On a side note - "Selena's fans will adore this bag", most Selena Gomez fans are teenagers/young adults who do not have $500 to spend on a bag
