Glad you found an effective, inexpensive, and relatively pain free product. I waxed for years and years having a really good technician in the city. When I moved out to the sticks, I was forced to find an alternative and that’s when I had a particularly bad experience and swore off waxing forever. I ended up having super short notice of a necessary trip with H and pulled an ad from the damn yellow pages in desperation since I hadn’t got around to doing any research since the move. So, I rushed over to the closest ‘spa’, had the wax done, drove home, threw my clothes in a suitcase, and it was a mad dash off to the airport. I had felt a lot of discomfort during the wax job.. the wax felt awfully hot to me and I mentioned it twice to the ‘technician’ who reassured me that everything was fine. I just wanted to get done and get the hell outta there. Anyhow.. imagine being on a plane with your privates on FIRE (Yes, NARS Fire Down Below always reminds me of this episode). I arrived at my destination with my pants stuck to me in ways which I can’t describe and once at my hotel, I had to gingerly and painfully peel off my pants along with I don’t know how many layers of skin which has blistered and was oozing!!! Blah blah blah.. you get the nasty picture. It was so horrible, painful, not to mention disgusting, and it took weeks to heal. I was super pissed!!!
When I got back home a week later, I decided to research a good laser technician and I paid a LOT of money to have hair eradicated from legs, bikini, underarms. What hairs have grown back in since then are barely noticeable and easily removed with a gentle hair remover. Laser I can highly recommended in the hands of a qualified technician.. but it’s wickedly expensive. For me, it was worth it.
Now, I know absolutely nothing about sugaring, or sugaring/waxing combined, but with a microwave involved, please, BE CAREFUL to not burn yourself. It may not feel like you are burning your skin at the time, just a touch too hot. They should provide a temperature in the instructions that it optimal for hair removal, but I’m guessing everyone’s skin is different. I think you could at least check the temperature of the paste with a thermometer since it is water soluble.. just sayin..

or she loves to tell Christine things she doesn't really need to hear?
I'm not one to defend Christine...but in this case, I actually feel bad for her.
Not only does she have to read through the painfully awkward post,
but she has wwendaSTAN and KafkaSTAN playing backseat bloggers in the comments.
Re: Temptalia Part 2
So she posted a review of a mirror... without actually showing us the mirror...

I'm really glad Christine now has a hairless twat. All the more room for the Stans!
Re: Temptalia Part 2

Re: Temptalia Part 2
I don't follow Temptalia's blog, I just check it out when I need to see swatches of something. She seems pretty bland to me but is she actually a snob? From what I understand most of the stuff she reviews is gifted to her so it's not like she paid for it so I don't get exactly what she'd be showing off. That she pretends to be wealthy? Not that I care because she isn't interesting to me, and for someone who's been reviewing makeup she isn't the best at applying it either.
Anyway one thing I can't stand and just don't understand about her blog is her need to post like 10 photos of a product rather than just getting on with the review. Like do we really need to see what the tip of a lipstick looks like up close and then further away? Do we really need to see what every part of a standard MAC lipstick tube and their boxes look like?! Ugh, it's so annoying! I think one product photo, one arm swatch, and one lip swatch is enough for a review. It isn't necessary to take like 40 pictures for every blog post that's probably why it takes her so long to review products!

Re: Temptalia Part 2
wow she got married yesterday! thats acutally quite refreshing to see, that she was able to do something that big without shoving it down everyone's throats a la michele1218.
Re: Temptalia Part 2
I actually like her wedding make-up - I would've picked a slightly more subtle gold eyeliner, but apart from that it's lovely.
The only thing that kills me is her hair ;A; Christine, y u no go to hairdresser?

Re: Temptalia Part 2
Her wedding makeup would've been lovely if not for that garish bright gold liner! Ugh, Christine, WHY?

Re: Temptalia Part 2
I think she looks lovely, quite radiant in fact. Kinda pains me to say but I figure credit where it's due. Maybe i'm reading into photos something that isn't there, cos i'm a sucker for a wedding, but her eyes are sparkly, her grin looks genuine and whilst I think she's a bland brand snob, I wish her all the best, for whatever it's worth.

Re: Temptalia Part 2
Her wedding makeup:
Didn't like the gold liner at all. But I thought the lip color was nice.
Also, I'm actually happy for her.
Nothing's more boring than having a beauty guru/blogger get married,
because yeah, we're happy for you,
but you don't have to post thirty things about it. Like Rachhloves.
I like her, but her wedding video(s) and posts got old.

Re: Temptalia Part 2
Ill say she looked decent. Not all beautiful lovely or gorgoeus. She just looked ok, I cant get over the hair. All this wedding mess is blah, meh and boring to me. Onto the next.

Re: Temptalia Part 2
Just saw the wedding makeup / hair. It's really awful. It's not as bad as I was expecting, but looks...like she did it all herself in about 5 minutes. Not in a good way. I can't believe people...her family, her friends...let her do that for her wedding pictures. Yikes.
