MAC interview?

I had an interview at Sephora about a month ago but didn't get the job, I think it was because I didn't have 2 years of retail experience. I have an interview at MAC now but if I wasn't hired at Sephora why would I be at MAC? Does anyone have any advice on a MAC interview if they've had one or work there?
