My mother still does the whole Santa Claus thing of wrapping all our presents and having us open them Christmas morning even though I'm 21 and my brother and sister are 18 haha
It's because my grandmother always made Christmas special for her and my aunts and uncles even though they did not have much money. Myself and my siblings do spend quite a bit on my parents though to show our appreciation for them and what they have done for us.
This year I gratefully received:
-A new laptop for University (Old one was on its last legs!)
-Make-up; Benefit, Tarte and Sleek.
-Soap and Glory gift set
-Pjamas and underwear
-Some classic Disney Dvds
-Lady Gaga Fame perfume
-A "Simba" disney cuddle toy (probably the most sentimental; I had one when I was very young and brought it everywhere with me, I dressed in a lion costume my granny made me and was generally in love with the Lion King! My little sister took it to a creche with her one day and lost it, I was devastated and spent months searching for it as nobody would tell me she lost it so getting the teddy this year made me sooo happy!
-A beautiful engraved silver jewelry box from my aunt
-Molton brown shampoo and conditioner, shu eumura eyeshadow palette and eyelash curlers from another aunt
-My boyfriend brought me skiing for my Christmas present/21st present.
-My boyfriends family gave me a 50 euro brown thomas voucher and a ton of benefit make-up
-I then bought myself some mac and inglot make-up and spent the rest of my money on gifts for my family, friends and animals
Hope everyone had an amazing Christmas!
