Don't you need a special screwdriver to even get it off? That would make the special meaning kind of hard to miss.Unless it's too big for her I suppose and she can just slip in on. It's supposed to be a chastity belt type of thing. I can't personally decide if I find it more sweet or creepy. Anyway she probably got it from this mystery boyfriend of hers and that's why she's now so in love with him.

The special screwdriver comes with the bracelet. However, the screwdriver can also come in the form of a necklace, but the bracelet is big enough to slip on and off. Also Cartier has a policy that a customer cannot purchase the bracelet for themselves. It also means eternal love. I guess a mother could give their daughter one like eternity bands. It might be her moms, I do think she would admit if it was a gift or if she bought it.

Isn't it a little odd to be wearing someone else's love bracelet though? With that symbolism, the only way I'd do that was if I inherited it from a mother/grandmother after they died.

She was with her mom on that family cruise they did. Her mom could have worn had it with her and Blair borrowed it. She's talked before about borrowing her moms jewelery, like the diamond studs she used to wear.

I don't think its odd for her to wear it. I know the bracelet itself is symbolic and is probably important to the giver and receiver, but its also just a cute high end bracelet. If she had an event and wanted people to see her wearing a 5k bracelet on her wrist.. yeah I can see her taking it. If her mom wanted it back, Elle could have delivered it back to her sooner than Blair.
