Oh god, definitely avoid tumblr like the plague. I will be as well.

I'm making my boyfriend go to White Castle with me and hoping he buys me chocolate.
It's a stupid holiday with a SO or now.

I've never understood why people feel the need to do something on Valentines Day even when they're single. Like I'm not saying only people in a relationship can go out but I don't get why people feel like they HAVE to do something because 'its sad to stay in on valentines day alone'. No offence but its not that much better going out on Valentines day when you're single anyway, it doesn't really make you any less 'sad'... Not saying that anyone here is sad but yeah. If you're single then it's just a normal day...

Anyway ill be doing homework bc yay

On Valentines' Day itself I'm not doing anything special, because my boyfriend lives/works in my home city and I am away at college right now. However I'm visiting my home city this weekend and we're going out to a romantic dinner at a really nice restaurant :) It's my first Valentines' Day when I actually have a Valentine, so I'm pretty happy about that.

Honestly I'm not really a holiday-celebration person in general though. I think if you love someone you should express your love for them every day and not just on some societally designated one day of the year.

I hate valentine's day. I hated it when I was single. Still do and I'm married. It's more about making single people feel bad about themselves than couples celebrating their love. And what is this BS about children giving valentine's cards to their family... And saying my mother is my valentine and valentine's events at church professing your love for god? Forced celebration. You don't HAVE to celebrate something because moat people around toi do.

My fiance doesn't finish class until 6 that day, so we will go for pabingsu after.

Our anniversary is next month so we're focusing on that instead.

I agree, valentines day makes a lot of single people feel miserable for not having a boyfriend.

I had a bf last year but realized what a douche he was and kicked him to the curb. Still, it was like any other day, as it will be for me this year.

I have a boyfriend but we're not doing anything. Valentines day is stupid in my opinion.
I hate people who make it a big deal. Facebook and tumblr on valentines day are insufferable. There's either posts about peoples 'amazing boyfriends who bought them flowers' or posts about how people will be 'forever alone' because their 20 without a boyfriend. Eugh.
Can you photoshop your life with better decisions, Jerry?

Me and my boyfriend will see each other at some point. We've decided that since our birthdays are near valentines, we won't spend silly money as we'd rather spend more money for birthday presents.
I baked him some heart shaped gingerbread cookies and have a card. That's enough really!!

I don't really understand all the hate for Valentine's Day. I think it's just a cute little holiday. I know you should treat people with love and respect all year round but it's nice to give people gifts as a token of your appreciation. It doesn't even have to be anything big.
