Re: Buzzfeed - Part 3
I actually feel pretty sorry for Hannah's new baby. At least the other two had some years without buzzfeed. This one has a camera shoved in its face since birth so Mama can pay the bills with buzzfeed money.

Re: Buzzfeed - Part 3
I wonder how many social media kids are going to be really messed up later in life because of living their whole lives on camera.

I am waiting for some really interesting tell all’s and also some court cases where the kids are suing for more of a cut of profits for having their entire life documented on the internet

Following.
I can't imagine what it's going to be like for some of these kids later in life, who have You Tuber vlogging parents that document everything in their lives, even bad moments and melt downs as kids do, on the internet for the world. I'm glad I grew up in a pre internet, pre social media society.

Become a licenced psychotherapist specialising in early childhood trauma induced by constant exposure and a loss of privacy.
I foresee an exceedingly big market for all of us to thrive.

Re: Buzzfeed - Part 3
The first round of kids from mommyblogging are starting to grow up and it's getting interesting. There was the girl who begged her mom to stop writing about her entire life on the internet and the mom then wrote an article about how outlandish that request was, and recently one who rebelled by buying a shirt stamped with "i do not consent to pictures" on it and wears it everywhere.thehippiechick wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 8:10 amFollowing.

Re: Buzzfeed - Part 3
As confirmed in her latest YouTube video, Devin left Buzzfeed in November and now works for NBC. I’m not surprised and figured she was working somewhere else when I saw a lot more of her friend Allison on her IG stories. Honestly, good for her for being able to jump ship when she could. Buzzfeed’s heyday has come and gone.

Re: Buzzfeed - Part 3
The state of this thread is like Buzzfeed. Dead.
Glad Devin went to a legit company that could use her talent. I really enjoyed her video too! Thorough without being catty or ungrateful. I actually want LadyLike to stay dead. Can't stand Kristin or Freddie.
Also, on the topic of ex-employees, Steven's Watcher seems dead? The content isn't interesting or engaging at all.

Yeah Watcher seems kind of a bust. Nothing has really interested me from their content.
But Steven is also filming for Worth It again apparently.

Re: Buzzfeed - Part 3
I like all of them as individuals, so I want this to succeed, but they really aren't that engaging... Except Puppet History. The latest one make me laugh harder than I've laughed at a YouTube video in a while. I think they tried to go too big with releasing a bunch of different series, rather than focusing on making a couple really good.
I still play their stuff, even if I'm not watching it completely, because I believe they can make good content, they just need time to find their footing.

Re: Buzzfeed - Part 3
Yep. After Ashly, Quinta, Safiya, Try Guys, etc all left, the only people I watched at Buzzfeed was Ladylike and that turned into hate-watching until they disbanded too. I dont care enough to get to know anyone currently doing Buzzfeed videos. I think the whole company is slowly tanking.haze wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 2:54 pmThe state of this thread is like Buzzfeed. She's unlikable and has no personality whereas Devin is approachable and engaging.fuzzypickles wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 4:05 pmhow awk that even after 2 months chantal's intro channel video doesn't even have half the views as devin's

Re: Buzzfeed - Part 3
I think they could have success with the paranormal stuff if they just made it like buzzfeed unsolved. I’ve said it before but it’s far too much of a joke and too childlike and they interview people that (I think) a lot of people don’t care to watch an interview with, where BUN was spooky and interesting with some comedic relief.WhimsicalKoala wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2020 1:41 pmI like all of them as individuals, so I want this to succeed, but they really aren't that engaging...
