Fashion Week D-Lister InTheFakeSustainabilityTrain - Part 6

Post by Weird Vagina »

thanks to QueenDecember for the fashion week d-lister part, and I added the rest. I'm so sick of these influencers jumping on the sustainability bandwagon for views. 1. they don't give a fuck about it. 2. they're not even being sustainable. fake all over the place. :x

So wait...during this fashion week she

1) attended the Ralph & Russo show with Dyson in an ill-fitting outfit
2) shot yet ANOTHER ad for a perfume brand in her hotel room (which is probably paid by Dyson)
3) went to the LV jewellery presentation

Meanwhile Tamara is an ambassador for PFW and had attended all the shows and all the other IT girls like Caro are hopping from show to show dressed by the designers sitting front row.

TRAGIC!!

I had to go check to confirm that our favorite fragrance gal is back at it again...and she is. And wearing quite the tacky outfit.

TRAGIC indeed.

At this point she's basically that person who stands in/outside a department store asking if you want a spray!
Cringing for her!

Ralph & Russo made it pretty clear who their A-listers are - and poor Victoria and her tragic suit didn't make the cut.

That suit! I would have expected for her to be dressed by the brand for the show or something. I mean, if they did, and this is what they offered her, they must not like her very much.

Yup, more perfume ads!!! Leave it to Vic to go to couture week and shoot ads in hotel rooms and hang out with her loser husband rather than attend actual shows or afterparties...she must feel like such a failure, and rightly so

I actually REALLY like this coat and think her hair/makeup are nice — but once again the fit is atrocious.

Given that it’s COUTURE week which is all about custom fit and perfect tailoring...she must really not score high on the list for Viktor & Rolf or Ralph & Russo if they don’t bother to give her something that fits properly.

I don’t get it, Such ill-fitting clothes don’t do these brands any favours. I wouldn’t be surprised if she somehow got hold of last dregs through a third party, which is why her outfits are so random and unsuitable. At this point it’s like watching a car crash in slow-mo.

For someone who tries to convey that she’s on the pulse of fashion, surprised she didn’t mention Demna Gvasalia’s anticipated Balenciaga couture unveiling. It’s kind of a big deal since it’ll be the brand’s first couture show in years.

Victoria doesn't know shit about fashion, let's be honest. Her degree is in retail management/marketing. It's more to do with business than fashion really. She's not knowledgeable at all when it comes to history of fashion or fashion as a form of art. She's a total fraud, trying to portray herself as someone she's not (a 'fashion expert' who holds a 'PhD in fashion') and making a profit out of it.

Or jean Paul Gaultier’s grand retirement after 50 years. That was a tremendous show!!

Vic really is the fragrance girl and not there for the fashion...and yet gripes that the fashion world doesn’t blow smoke up her fanny.

Oh hun. We have learned the difference from real fashion influencers. You are NOT having a night with Dior. You’re dressed in the dior you’ve bought with your own money and are there to shill their entry way makeup and skincare.

The Dior fashion house doesn’t care that you exist. Accept it and move on. Image

Having watched the vlog, it's clear that Victoria isn't really good at pairing things together. The fact that she had a choice of shoe for the R&R suit and went with the Altuzarra star heels is ridiculous! They gave her a bag with pink and yellow and she didn't choose to wear her own yellow JC's?!?!? That's why she will only ever be invited to FW with beauty brands!! Nothing about her screams fashion at all. Considering all the competition trying to get photographed...you have to do something to set yourself apart! What a lost opportunity.

ETA: Noticed the difference in hotel stays when she's not under management anymore. Interesting.
