I'm always amazed that I am actually a few months older than Sam. I'm a "full face" type of girl when it comes to makeup and I still look at least 5 years younger than her with makeup.

^^I think he was so present because he was afraid someone got her something she actually enjoyed or was hoping, since the gift was from a subscriber, they included something for him. He's as bad as Princess assuming he should get gifts on Sam's birthday. The difference is Ham is an adult (allegedly). I can't wait until he has a meltdown in "school" when one of his peers has a birthday.

this is exactly the problem with people who constantly get things for free. They always "expect" to get something. Especially "something for nothing". I don't care that that subbie sent her a prezzie (even tho I rolled my eyes) because that's her money spent on Sam.

the day of her birthday he went to the store and had each child pick flowers (X got baby's breath- how ironic) and Lily picked some potted flowers. Jay picked roses. They each picked a small balloon. And Jay being the bafoon he is let them pick baloons with spanish sayings (like one said- it's a girl in spanish). So fucking stupid. Why not direct your kids to pick appropriate birthday balloons? Then they picked several single or double servings of individually packaged cakes and several tubs of gelato/ice cream. So damn stupid. Lily had a to pick and ice cream. X had to pick an ice cream. Then they had the hello kitty cake because Sam is 14 not 30.

I'm sorry, I'm not giving them a view either but I want to know: Why did Pig go back and buy the Hello Kitty cake if he bought the single pieces so they wouldn't have "too much" cake? WTF? Did he see how lame that was and went back???

I don't want to give them a view, either...but I'll bet someone threw a fit for the Hello Kitty cake and he had to go back and get it to avert a meltdown. Am I getting warm? LOL! I wonder which one of the three...Lily, Phoenix, or Sam...would have a meltdown over cake?

There is no real explanation.

Jobless bought like 6 pieces of cake, 3 or 4 containers of ice cream and a dozen donuts. Then the next day he went back and got a HK cake.

So basically he bought her gigantic doses of sugar and lard. Delightful.

I also want to say that I am kind of surprised she didn't get a party or something. Turning 30 was kind of a big one for me...I mean, it was the end of my 20's and my "youth" in a way. I can't believe Jay didn't do something more special for her than some lame flowers and grocery store cake. I saw a while ago on IG he posted a picture of SIX tubs of gelato! He used the hashtag #foodporn, among others. Another hashtag he used was #fitness...really? Is he delusional? That stuff has just as many calories, fat, carbs, etc. as ice cream. No wonder he is fat.

I didn't really care for the fashion show. I think that stuff would've been better on her mommy channel. Those kids already get enough unneeded praise for the dumbest shit.

Another freaking cake! Dozen donuts, 4 small cakes, 4 tubs of ice cream, and a hello kitty cake. Did I miss anything? She deserves to get fat and sick. They both do. No sympathy here whatsoever. I could understand if they ate better throughout the year, but they don't. Almost everyday is a cake or donut day. When they go out to eat they always get dessert. I reserve one day (my birthday) out of the year to go hog wild on almost whatever I want to eat. ONE! It's true, I have more discipline than most people but I am far from being a Saint!

This is ridiculous. What happens if they get sick and can't take of their kids. What happens when they can't afford to pay medical bills. Sam already had a cancer scare, although now I think it's a crock of bull. What happens if their kids become ill. They don't think or plan for these kind of things! They remain oblivious to anything that could happen. They aren't great parents. I don't care. Thank fuck, I am not one of their kids is all I can say.

Her presents were stupid. Especially, for a memorable 3-0 birthday. He probably couldn't afford anything more than crap food and flowers that'll die. Just happy he didn't buy her makeup or perfume for Pete's sake.

I know for my 30th and for my husband's, we each planned parties for each other. His was first and I had a surprise party for him. We had moved from our hometown and had plenty of new friends in our new town as we'd been there for almost a year. I sent letters to our friends who lived too far away to make it to the party and asked them to send emails, letter, pictures, etc. of their favorite memories of my husband, to be read by my husband after his party. I GAVE them to him at the party, though, so he could see how loved he was, by so many family and friends from two different states. It didn't cost anything (or very little, anyway) to do that letter thing, we had a BBQ, his best friend came over and got the grill going so my husband could enjoy his party. Our kids were all little, so they played while we ate hot dogs, burgers, chips, and birthday cake. Nothing fancy but it's something he'll always remember. He pretty much did the same for me, but my bday is in winter, so the party was indoors.

I wonder why Pig didn't get their friends to send letters and/or come over... oh. Yeah.

Who was the present from? For some reason I had it in my head it was the lady who stayed with her recently. I think Jay wants Sam to be fat. It's just another level of control. It lowers her self confidence, making her more likely to stay and also potentially prevents other men from finding her attractive and taking her away from him. It also means he doesn't have to feel as bad about himself being fat or her leaving him because he's fat.

I wonder why Jay put Sam's card on the couch upstairs and said it had been there all day but she was too busy to notice (lol). Was he doing it to make it look like she was actually too busy to notice, or because he wanted viewers to think she didn't appreciate the "meaningful" things he got her? I might be reaching here, but to me it seemed like he was jealous that so many of her fans actually told her happy birthday and she got (nice) gifts from a viewer... I think he planned to give her the card at a different time (mom&dad watching tv on the couch time), but he planted it after the fact so viewers can see she's all about the gifts and not about the heartfelt cards and balloons (that weren't even in English). I don't know, it just seemed weird to me. Also, was it Jay or Lily who snatched the card out of Sam's hand after she read it? I couldn't tell because all three of them do that to her.

Why couldn't Jobless give her a car from him to her. No chicken scratch from the kids. Just a sweet, thoughtful card. She strikes me as the type who would love a heartfelt little love note. But nope ... It screeching and scribbling. Total fail.

I agree with everyone that Sam woyld have wanted/got a proper gift party from pig. He's just way to lazy to do anything unless it involves feeding himself as conveniently ad possible! Lazy selfish Ham Hog!

I didn't want anything for my 30th birthday. Presents or party. I have never seen the point in birthdays myself & it bugs me that society makes such a big deal out of certain birthdays. Age is just another label people put on you so they can say you're either too old, too young, mature or immature. That's just how I feel, for me. I've got no issue with others celebrating though.
