Re: MsGoldGirl Part 2
Why is the first msgoldgirl page locked? For those of you who don't know I live in San Antonio and know marnie personally. Yes...she is the mega bitch she appears to be and its even worse in person. Her style is terrible. Her skin looks even more aged in person. Her stuck up attitude is atrocious. Her lisp is terrible along with her weird eye rolling tick when she talks. Unfortunately her family is adorable. Her husband is kind. She complains about everything. If you have any questions what she's actually like in person feel free to ask, and yes I've met Erin too.

I think her eye rolling is because she wears contacts and they're irritating her eyes.gogogirl4 wrote:Why is the first msgoldgirl page locked? I like Erin, so I am curious to know your impression of her. How do you know Marnie? Not questioning just wondering.gogogirl4 wrote:Why is the first msgoldgirl page locked? Re: MsGoldGirl Part 2
I don't think her incessant eye rolling and lip smacking has to do with her contacts. she does it even when she's wearing glasses. i think the woman just has a tick. has anyone else noticed how ratty her has been lately? the color is practically orange and the texture is terrible. you know it's bad when her husband has to ask her to put a little effort in. don't even get me started on the way she never has anything nice to say.
erin...ohhhhh erin
the "stylist"...self proclaimed stylist
her style is terrible
she's practically 50, trying to dress younger, yet still missing the mark
perhaps i have nothing nice to say about erin because her self important attitude is even worse than marnie's
did anyone else notice the major ass kissing erin was doing in the elaine turner video?

Re: MsGoldGirl Part 2
Erin is nowhere near 50. She had her 40th B-day last year and filmed a video about turning 40. In any case, she has been nothing but extremely kind and helpful to me, both in answer to my comments, and in private messaging with me.gogogirl4 wrote:I don't think her incessant eye rolling and lip smacking has to do with her contacts. she does it even when she's wearing glasses. i think the woman just has a tick. has anyone else noticed how ratty her has been lately? the color is practically orange and the texture is terrible. you know it's bad when her husband has to ask her to put a little effort in. don't even get me started on the way she never has anything nice to say.

I guess everyone has their own idea about fashion and what looks good, but I think Erin's style is awesome, and I think most of the time she looks fantastic. I just wish she'd mentor LLD1.
I think where Marnie could use a little help is in the diplomacy department. She does seem to make a decent effort to answer comments, I'll give her that, but the way she responds often comes off as hostile, or at the very least not gracious. I know when people criticize her she's chalked it up to her 'sarcastic sense of humor' but even if that's the case it often doesn't translate well to written comments. I think she ought to be a little bit humble for a change, and realize if so many people take issue with her attitude it might be time to examine it, and try and adjust it.

I had the same positive experience interacting with Erin. It would really take a lot to change my opinion of her, and I am not buying that this person knows either Marnie or Erin.VanessaVanity wrote:Erin is nowhere near 50. I must be asleep at the wheel because I never once noticed Marnie's eye rolling.

I don't buy it, either. This person periodically comes on here claiming to know both of them and trashes with a capital T- Way beyond the typical observations and griping done on this site. And to claim close enough relationship to also know the husband and kids? Yeah, no.PrncssProtnPowdr wrote:I had the same positive experience interacting with Erin. I've only noticed the eye thing it when she has her contacts in. I think she does it when they're dry or something because I have a friend who does the same exact thing when the contacts are bothering her. it's just a really super quick eye roll, almost like a tick. She is probably not even aware she's doing it.

Re: MsGoldGirl Part 2
Yeah this person has come on here before and repeated the same information every time. Practically verbatim. I too have had nothing but positive experiences with Erin both on her social media and via private emailing. She's extremely helpful and kind.
Marnie does have some kind of tick with the eye rolling. She does it even when she wears glasses. I noticed that ages ago. I'll try to screen shot it next time
And yes!! What's with her hair (and eyebrows)? Both have an orange tint to them lately.

Re: MsGoldGirl Part 2
I agree with the above comments about Erin, she has been very helpful and nothing but pleasant during any interactions I have had through comments. I doubt she is 50 with small children? I wish Marnie would tone down the brazen sarcastic replies. Even when saying thank you she says it sarcastically.

Wow! Check this out! Marnie got involved in Karina Kabooom's Gerard Cosmetics fiasco in the comments section:
Marnie Goldberg | MsGoldgirl 2 hours ago
I just posted about it on Facebook and Twitter. I cannot stand for that kind of behavior. It's beyond bullying...I think it can be considered terroristic threats in some cases. Every brand I have worked with, I've asked them what they want me to do if I don't like their product. EVERY brand has always said that they stand by their products, and they know I'll like them. If I don't, they want the feedback so they know how to improve them. That' called a responsible, legitimate business plan. On another note, since I actually paid for those awful lipsticks myself, I hope they don't hack my credit card now!

I didn't know about all of the drama. Gerard Cosmetics is crap though with cheap packaging.imnotfatimbigboned wrote:Wow! Check this out! Marnie got involved in Karina Kabooom's Gerard Cosmetics fiasco in the comments section:

Re: MsGoldGirl Part 2
I am convinced that she's such a b*tch because she is treating like sh*t at home. You can tell that her husband does not consider her his equal and she projects that towards almost everything in her life. Also, what is up with the overly-highlighted face makeup? Does she not know that how awful it looks?

Ive kinda gotten that feeling about him too. He almost seems dismissive of her at times. And her kids take her for granted a lot too...but that's par for the course with teenagers that age, plus I'd guess they are a little on the over indulged side too.lipsticklushiousGG wrote:I am convinced that she's such a b*tch because she is treating like sh*t at home. I'd dismiss someone too if they tried to capture me DAILY on camera to call me 'babe' and ask inane questions about where my shirt came from. You can practically hear his thoughts: "Jesus christ, can I please just freaking get some sh*t done on my laptop in peace for once?" (Likewise the kids: "Ugh, Mom, I just want to eat my froyo without having to explain the toppings to Youtube viewers")Bchbunnie4 wrote:Ive kinda gotten that feeling about him too. I liked the family dynamic better when everyone else was hidden. Now it's just SO awkward to watch, and I cringe for everyone in the house trying to support this while simultaneously losing all privacy. Daily vlogging is just way too intrusive and obnoxious to impose on your family and friends.

Re: MsGoldGirl Part 2
I love this board because of all the different perspectives. I never would have come up with the theory that Marnie is belittled at home, but it is interesting. I always assumed that her husband hates the camera in his face, and that being dismissive while she is filming is his passive aggressive way of saying, "Get that effin thing out of my face."
I have noticed that he is VERY vocal about her appearance though. Telling her that she should line her lips like Pamela Anderson, telling her how to wear her hair, offering to get her Botox. He sounds controlling in that way.

Re: MsGoldGirl Part 2
I can't figure out her husband. He seems nice and she SAYS he's supportive of her vlogging. But his actions on camera suggest otherwise. That one day when she was vlogging him at breakfast and asking him a question and he literally turned away from her to look out the window and completely ignored her. I mean, completely. It was painful. Is he telling her he's supportive of it but being passive aggressive on purpose when she actually films? I don't know. Either way I think Marnie would do well to talk directly and honestly to her family and say...if you're supportive of the vlogs then don't be cranky on camera. They have a right to be cranky but I think she should leave them off screen in that case. It just makes all of them look bad the way it is now.
I also am curious about her motivation to vlog daily. She obviously gets better views on her vlogs. She must have either noticed a substantial increase in revenue from the vlogging months so she decided it was worth becoming a daily vlogger. OR she loves the attention that much. Or a combination of both. Something is very off about the family dynamics though.

I agree...if he doesn't want to be in her vlogs then don't be in them. Her vlogs would be just fine without him acting all churlish in them. Either you support her or you don't, don't be a dick!
