That last one is hella cute haha
I've only recently been able to watch videos in 720p and 1080p, and I noticed how awful her mascara application looks when she wants to go for a heavier look..... Instead of wearing false lashes, she piles on mascara and it looks like bug legs :(

She didn't just buy a bunch of random junk for Becky but actually put thought into it and had a little anecdote for each gift. I like to think I'd be just as generous and thoughtful if I didn't have to think about how much money I'm spending but I'm not sure that's true. I think she's a really caring person and a great friend.
I agree that Fleur is very generous. But I have to say that I've always thought part of the reason she's a great gift giver isn't because she has money but she finds gifts that are meaningful. I feel like I've seen her give or receive many gifts that seem inexpensive (Primark pjs?!) but it's more meaningful because its thoughtful. I highly doubt that doggy/flower air freshener was expensive but it looked just like Bee!

I agree. I think it's pretty and nice enough, but often looks very flat on top. I've liked her doing braids because it's good to see her do something different with it, but I'm getting a bit sick of them now in video after video. I'd actually like to see her with shoulder length hair I think.
I think the main problem I have with her hair though, is that she comes across as being very very vain when it comes to her hair. I really like Fleur, but often get irritated watching her main videos, because she is constantly playing with it and pushing bits back off her face. She clearly loves her hair and I just want to scream at her to stop touching it! :D

re: Fleur's eyes. Anyone else think that the reason her eyes are always so irritated is because she is piling on mascara and eyeliner, and/or using false lashes? Maybe she's extra sensitive to those things. I know that when I wear too much eyeliner, some of it may rub off and stick to my contact lenses.

I just realized what I said sounds super obvious common sense, lol. But she is ALWAYS complaining about her eyes. Sure, getting Lasik may help the dryness aspect caused by wearing contact lenses, but it may not eliminate the underlying issue of chemical irritants from cosmetics. Just a thought...

^ Totally agree.Fleur nearly always wears lots of black kohl eyeliner on her lower waterline as well. I also wear contacts, and tend to avoid doing this as it's really not great for your eyes doing that every single day. I wish she would wear her glasses more often actually, or at least get some nicer ones.

She wears her contacts for 10+ hours while they're meant to be used for 8, tops. She also has sensitive eyes, of course her eyes will get irritated and sore, they're not getting enough bloody oxygen!! It's not rocket science. I have a friend who complains of the same and she refuses to believe it's because she wears the for too long (and doesn't clean them properly, I do know Fleur wears dailies though, this was just an example)
And she needs to really read into LASIK surgery....... I don't think she knows if she gets it done she'll never be able to wear contacts again if it reverses - she'll be stuck with glasses forever.
Also, about the dryness: lasik will only make it worse.

I agree with the hair - she has lovely hair but i wish she would put it up out of the way occasionally even a nice ponytail. She is not the tallest and i think it can sometimes swamp her. I'm guessing that Mike probably likes her long hair as well though so i can't see her getting any new radical hairstyle in the near future.

Didn't she vlog about going to a eye specialist the other day to see if she was suitable to get laser treatment because of her eyes being sore a lot?
I see she has gone to Geneva with Stylehaul - i wonder what they are there for?

People who do Lasik also get dry eyes from it. Your eyes are also more sensitive to the sun and light. I don't about you guys but when I wear mascara and curl my eyelashes, my eyes are drier. I notice it every time I do it which isn't very often. So I guess for the people who do it every day, it might not be noticeable after a while.

^ That's a really good point. Also I just remembered that birth control pills are a huge contributing factor for dry eyes too. I don't know if she's on the pill, but just wanted to bring that up. I used to have really dry eyes while wearing daily contacts. I ended up switching to a different brand of dailies that allows more oxygen in and voila, problem solved! It'll be interesting to hear what her opthamologist says.

Eh, I've had LASIK in both my eyes. If your vision gets worse, you can wear contacts again according to my surgeon. Also, my eyes were dry for about 3 months but if you're religious with the drops (like 8+ applications per day) then it gets much better. I'm a year out from the surgery and I don't need my drops at all. I wear relatively heavy amounts of mascara and liquid liner daily.

I questioned three doctors (one private, one at the hospital and my regular) after reading online that the cornea never fully heals and all of them confirmed it (after beating around the bush for a while) - contacts are out of the question.
I'm considered legally blind and apt to get LASIK and opted not to mainly because of this.

^ This is great information because I never knew this. I knew about the dry eyes, sensitivity to light, undercorrection, and blood splotches. I do know someone who got Lasik and he still can't drive at night after getting the surgery at least 5 years ago.

If that's what your doctors tell you, you should obviously follow it. I went from -7.00 and -7.25 in contact prescriptions to seeing 20/15 though. My surgeon says my odds of my vision going bad again are less than a fraction of 1% until I eventually need readers (like everyone does around 40-50 years old). But I did ask him about contacts post-LASIK and he said it was fine. Different docs, different opinions I suppose. But LASIK was the best thing I ever did for myself.
