Childfree by Choice

I got married last January and my husband and I agreed that we don’t wanna have kids now. We’re aiming to have only 1 kid after 7 years.
We want to enjoy life first + I’m still scared of the idea of giving birth naturally. It’s so scary and I’m still not ready for it.

I was like you... thinking "later." But later is here and I'm still absolutely NOT into the idea of pregnancy or child delivery. People say but it's so worth it. I don't see it that way. I see it like a burden. Not to mention after dealing with a 9+ months of pregnancy, then the nightmare delivery both looks and feels like.. you can't even sleep in and recoop. You have a screaming baby to deal with.. forever. I hear the first 6 months especially are brutal hell. The couple fights a lot too. Honestly, I'm fine if I never have kids. If in a few years I change my mind, adoption is where I would lean.. and with a 2 or 3 year old. Not a newborn...
