I'm so sorry if this is in the wrong section.
Anyway, does anyone here have any books they'd recommend on learning how to play the piano? Notes, how the piano works, what all the different "things" are and so on.
I found this list and I'm debating on getting them, but I'm still not sure.. Would be nice if anyone know first hand!

Any good books for piano beginners would be super helpful to be honest.

Re: Best Book on Learning The Piano
There's an Alfred's book. I used it. It's amazing! Teaches you from beginning stuff to super advanced! My copy had volumes one and two in the same book but here's a link to volume one on Amazon.

I also ended up picking up James Bastien's Piano Classics lvl one books. It's for children, with pictures and kids songs etc, but I've learned a lot from it. Definitely recommend it to everyone!

Anita has been teaching piano for more than 30 years. I came across her many years ago when she was teaching my children piano lessons. I highly recommend you go with her opinion for the best piano books!Haruna wrote: ↑Sat Nov 22, 2014 10:17 amI'm so sorry if this is in the wrong section.
