Re: Favorite healthy smoothies?
I looooove greens smoothies with spinach! All of them
My favourite fruit smoothie is new and it is soooo yummy
1/2 cup coconut water
1 frozen banana
1 green apple
1 green pear
5-6 ice cubes
I sometimes have it for breakfast because it is almost 400 calories, 15g of fiber and extremely filling!
Oh and also chocolate avocado smoothies

Re: Favorite healthy smoothies?
My go-to breakfast smoothie. Make it while my hair air dries and drink it on the walk to work. So yummy!
1 cup plain yogurt
1 banana
2 handfuls of kale
About a handful of whatever frozen fruit strikes my fancy at the time. I love berries, peach, and mango.
Depending on how much frozen fruit, I may need a little cold water to help it blend since my blender is not that great.
I also tried Ingrid's' (MissGlamorazzi) recipie and it was pretty good. Healthy-ish, but not as healthy or filling as my usual. It was pretty tasty, though, so I have it on my days off as a treat breakfast.
- 1 Banana sliced and frozen (You do need to freeze the banana slices for a bit- It's sort of runny and warm if you don't)
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- Chocolate Almond milk
1 cup plain yogurt
1 banana
2 handfuls of kale

Re: Favorite healthy smoothies?
Greek yogurt, berries of your choosing (i like blueberries), one frozen banana (so you don't need ice), milk of your choosing (I like almond), spinach/kale, and Quaker oats.
The oats make you fuller and give a nice texture. Lots of protein and whole grains to get you going in the morning!

Re: Favorite healthy smoothies?
^ I'm going to try that for breakfast! Thank you!
Does any one have any recommendations for vegetables to blend? Something that doesn't have TOO strong a taste. I'm trying to include more greens in my diet.

Re: Favorite healthy smoothies?
I just had a delicious smoothie for dessert -- 1 frozen banana, 2 small spoonfuls of peanut butter (a new one from Planters that's infused with granola & cinnamon for a nice texture), and chocolate almond milk. Filling and yummy!
Tomorrow I'm gonna try frozen peaches, rolled oats, apricot, unsweetened almond milk and a dash of honey for a breakfast smoothie. Smoothies are so fun!
